OMG! OHD!

I'm going to assume you all know what OMG means but if you don't know what OHD means it's Offhand Designs. They make gorgeous knitting bags and being the bag ho that I am, I've always wanted one. Well today was my lucky day!

Glenn and I went out to Long Island again today and while we where there I decided to check Knitmap to see if there were any shops close by. I got lucky and found Knit in Roslyn, NY. We decided to take a ride over and check it out. As soon as we walked in the door, I saw this gorgeous bag hanging from a hook on the wall.

Lovely, isn't it? It's an Offhand Designs Fiona bag in Regal Stripes. I went over and picked it up. Threw it over my shoulder. Man was it nice. There were a couple of other Offhand Designs bags but I really loved the colors in this one. Glenn told me to get it. I looked at the price tag, said thanks but no and put it back. We walked around the shop at bit. I didn't see anything that caught my eye. Not a lot of sock yarns but they do have a great selection of yarns and accessories. My eyes kept going back to the bag. Glenn noticed and had a little smirk on his face. After 25 years together, this dear man knows me so very very well. I went back to the bag, petted it. Looked inside and out. Checked out the pockets. Again Glenn told me to get it. Again I looked at the price tag. But then something weird happened. I tried to put it back on the hook but my hands wouldn't obey my brain and let it go. I said to him "Are you sure?" He said absolutely. So after the shop owner kissed this baby goodbye, she came home with me!

I really love this bag but I haven't gotten past the petting stage. By the time I go knitting this week I'll be ready to bring her out in public. I think.
