Since this is my second pair of socks made from the Socktopus book, I decided to make the book plural!
Another gorgeous pair of socks from this book. I made the V Junkie socks for one of my nieces. She loves hand made socks so I must oblige her wishes.
When I first saw these socks, I was intimidated and thought they'd be very difficult. I couldn't have been more wrong! The only thing that was different, not hard though, was the short row heel. I had never done it before but it was a piece of cake.
Lovely isn't it? Malabrigo sock yarn in a variegated green. I think this color is quite lovely and hope Joyce loves it as much as I do!
I have two more orders to fill. My sister, Pat, wants a pair of ankle socks and her best friend, Kathy, wants warm socks. I was going to do Kathy's in a Mad Tosh yarn but think I may change over to a BMFA Socks that Rock in medium weight. They will surely keep her warm!

3 Talk to me:
Once I began knitting socks and giving them to my friends and family, the "list" of who wants what grew longer and longer. I've decided I'll never live long enough to fill all the orders.
Gush! Those socks turned out awesome! Plus, Malabrigo sock yarn makes feets happy! :)
Have you done toe up before? It looks like your heel is inside out...but that could be a good thing. I might have to try that one day...
