Well first I want to start out by telling you about The Chew! It was great fun but over much too fast. We tried to get photos but none of them came out well which was disappointing. We had so much fun we're going to try to get tickets for The View and David Letterman next. I'm sure the waiting list is huge for them but we'll give it a go.
Now for knitting. I actually finished a pair of socks and there they are:
These are the Petunia Dursley's Double Eyelet Socks by Eric Lueder. I had started these a few months ago for Patrick but thought they were a bit too feminine looking. Love them! Easy breezy! I have yet to be disappointed in any way with a pattern by Erica. She writes lovely patterns and I'm a huge fan of hers. They're knit in Hazel Knits Soy Merino sock yarn which is a dream to knit with. The pattern calls for size 1 needles but I used my gorgeous Lantern Moon size 2 needles which make the perfect size for me.
I'm currently working on a pair of socks which will be a gift so I can't talk about them here but I can say that I'm making them with a yarn I purchased at Rhinebeck and I'm very much enjoying them so far.
