Pink Mitts & New Socks

My son asked me to make a pair of mitts for the girl he's going out with and he asked me to make them in pink. Needless to say, I was more than happy to oblige. I used a tried and true pattern and I like this pair even better than the ones I made for myself.

They're the Entwined mitts done in a yarn I had in my stash but it had no label. The mitts are warm, dense and gorgeous. I have enough yarn left to make myself a pair and that just may be one of my next projects!

Got the jones to do socks so I just cast on Diamonds In The Fluff using Hazel Knits merino with soy in Terrywinkle which is a lovely lavender. Yay socks I missed you!

Gorgeous mitts!

I really like these. They make me realize how much I prefer fingerless mitts to gloves. Nice job! Your son's gal will love them!

Oh my gosh - those are gorgeous !! I bought some alpaca last month to make a pair of mitts for my mother, and now I know which pattern I will use (just added to my queue :-) ... And how cool that your son asked you to make something !! Hope my kids are like that when they are older !!
