When ABC announced their new show, The Chew, was going to start airing in September I got very excited. In case you haven't seen it it's a talk show revolving around cooking. Clinton Kelly is the emcee, the chefs are Michael Symon, Mario Batalli and my favorite Top Chef contestant ever, Carla Hall! Daphne Oz, daughter of Dr. Oz, is one of the other hosts who is there to bring a different perspective to the dishes by making them vegetarian or giving them a less fat twist. As soon as I saw there was going to be a live audience I started looking for where I could get tickets. Long story short, I'm going to the filming tomorrow! I got tickets for me, Allyson and my sister Annie and it's my sister's birthday. Yay! This should be a lot of fun. I've only ever been to one show like this and it was, don't laugh, Maury Povich way before his "You are NOT the father!" days. My son, Glenn was on the show because he was a model and they were doing a show on child models. It was a lot of fun and I got a great keepsake from it.
I'll bring some knitting just in case there's downtime. If I could get Carla Hall to pose with a sock of mine, I would be in heaven!
