Sanguine Gryphon Hoarding

As I posted earlier in the week, Sanguine Gryphon is closing much to many knitters' chagrin. So this is how my crazy mind works. I gotta get as much as I can before they close. Keep in mind, that the owners will each be opening their own shops with, no doubt, gorgeous yarn that will be available shortly after Sanguine Gryphon closes. Also keep in mind, I have about seven skeins of it in my knitting cupboard. No let me correct myself. I used to have seven skeins of it. I now have ten.

Two skeins of Casco Bay in Traveller which is superwash merino in DK weight and one skein of Ruddy Daggerwing in Skinny Bugga which is a superwash merino, cashmere, nylon blend in fingering weight. Gorgeous no? I keep perusing their site and buying stuff for fear that I'm going to miss out on something. I've even taken to going to other sites that carry SG yarn to see what they have! I know I'm obsessing but it won't last long. It can't last long! It can only last till 12/31/11 when the doors close.

Is there such thing as a short term hoarder? If there wasn't before, there is now!

I've been hoarding too. I won't tell you how much I've accumulated. It's a bit scary.... scary & wonderful. :]

I'm trying to resist the temptation to do that! I had promised myself not to buy any more yarn until I use some of what I bought at Rhinebeck the last two years. I bought my first skein of Skinny Bugga at Rhinebeck this year. I love the color and the feel of the yarn. I want more! So conflicted!

The shop I work at is one of those 6 shops! We're not set up for online selling, but if you're looking for something, let me know :o)
