Knitting In Public
I don't know why there's only one official day for knitting in public when everyday should be knitting in public day! I always have my knitting with me and I'll knit anywhere when I have five or more extra minutes.
Today Al and I are going to hit up Madison Square Park for some delicious food and knitting. The park has it's Madison Square Eats event going on. There are a bunch of restaurants represented so it's a great opportunity to try out different foods from around the city. Al's a big foodie so we should have a ball. The weather is going to be perfect, great food and great company. What more could a girl ask for when knitting in public?
I love New York.

Sounds like fun! Have a great time! :)
I mostly knit socks and have a small bag that goes around my wrist with all the essentials in it. Knit, knit in public, waiting at the Dr. office, anywhere, anytime. I'm with you.
I always have a project with me and I love sitting in Bryant Park and knitting.
It IS a perfect day for that. I'm jealous! Eat lots of good food for me :o)
Sounds great!!!!!
I'm with you - I KIP every day! I actually kind of forget when it's the national knit in public day because it's such a part of my regular day.
