I've had the Elphaba's Revenge pattern set up as my last pair of socks for Socktoberfest ever since I saw them. They're really gorgeous and I will be making them but not now. There are several knitting methods in the pattern that I've never done, toe up & picking up stitches other than a gusset to name a couple. I'd really like to get these socks done before the end of the month and I think that learning and perfecting these will be too time consuming. I'm all about the quick and easy this month. Ok always but especially this month. I will definitely be making these because they are gorgeous and a challenge but not right now.
I found the Hedgerow Socks and I'm working on those now. Beautiful pattern and a Led Zepplin reference all in one! These should be done in no time and I'll have accomplished my goal of four socks this month!

I'm doing Hedgerow as well! I have one that is most of the way finished, I really need to get back to it. I should have just stuck with my original goal of finishing up singles this month. :/
