Hermoine's Socks
I'm always on the prowl for Harry Potter inspired knit and Erica Lueder never disappoints. Whenever I can't find something to knit or have nothing in my queue, I check out her page and come up with a fun pattern. I knit these up in less than four days. That makes up for the summer socks that took me about six weeks.
These are Hermoine's Everyday Socks. Obviously an easy and quick knit. I knit them in Dream in Color Smooshy but I'm not sure of the colorway, I tossed the label. They're very beachy looking to me and the yarn is lovely and soft. I can't wait till it gets cool enough here in NYC so I can start wearing socks again!
I started on the beret but decided not to do the Grace Beret pattern. I'm now doing the Dandelion beret using the Sanguine Gryphon yarn. This yarn is so soft! I've been coveting this yarn for a year or more and it's wonderful to know that it really lives up to it's reputation. Hoping to finish this beret this weekend!
