All The Water

A few months ago I decided I needed a pair of mittens so I was off to Ravelry to peruse patterns and designers I liked. Kirsten Kapur is one of those designers. I came across her pattern, All The Water, and fell in love with the mittens. I started knitting them, finished the first mitten, started the ribbing for the second mitten then put them aside. I don't know why I put them aside because it's a lovely pattern but put them aside I did. I picked them up this week to finish them up and realized after a few rounds, that it was looking like two different people had knit it. Had to rip it down and take a do over. It only took me a day to finish and here they are.
Thank you to my son Glenn for taking these artistically lovely pictures. I explained to him that next time I need full sunlight but I appreciate his artistic eye when taking photographs. He was nice enough to take the gloves and a few skeins of yarn, more about them tomorrow, to his school campus to take these photos for me. Ten days till Socktoberfest! Hope you're all getting ready like I am!
