Here she is! My niece, Joyce, had her baby on Friday! Her name is Madelyne Virginia and she's 8 lbs 9.5 ozs and 21.5 inches. Isn't she gorgeous? Just like her Mama.
We got to visit with her for a bit on the day she was born and it was wonderful. The boys really loved holding & kissing her which is surprising considering they're teen boys. We can't wait to see her again.
I couldn't resist showing off but next post will have knitting. And gnomes. Don't ask.

Isn't it funny how boys surprise you like that?? My brother (23) and cousin (19) surprise me all the time by playing with my much younger cousins (almost 4 and 8) so well. I've never seen them interact much with baby girl cousins, but now the youngest girls are 11. My brother and cousin aren't huggy kissy people so it's funny to see them rolling around and piggy-backing with a baby (ok he's 4 but he's the size of a 2 year old- I still think of him as that little haha)
