I May Be Short

See that little bit of yarn near that sock? That bit of yarn has to magically turn into enough yarn to finish 2.5 inches of sock that I have left to knit. Think I'll make it? I'm having doubts but I'm ready to make a sacrifice to the knitting gods that it grows to the exact amount I need. When this is done, it'll be the first UFO that becomes an FO.
Wish me luck!

You could be really creative and knit the rest in loose and airy lace =)

Susie if you run short, use a contrast sock yarn for both toes and call it an intentional design modification.

Oh my, oh my... I wish you luck, but I also wish you can get / dye more of that yarn!

You just might make it by the skin of your toes! I had a project that I was worried I wouldn't have enough and ask I got near the end I started knitting faster... as if that would make the yarn last longer~ What a dunce! But I did make it with a few inches to spare.

Good luck!

knithound has the right idea. This seems to be the week of "not quite enough." I just frogged 3000 lace stitches, got it back on the needles, and lived to blog about it.

you can always knit the toe with a different yarn! I think it would be pretty cool. Keep us (ahem) posted! :)
