Let The Wild Rumpus Start

I decided to join the pool down the block from me. Upon joining, I was told I needed a bathing cap. I haven't worn a bathing cap since I was about nine years old which is quite some time ago. It's nice to see they haven't changed much.

Glenn was sweet enough to go and find me a bathing cap in Manhattan which we all know isn't a bathing cap mecca. Upon taking this out of the bag, I smiled at how well my husband knows me. I saw this and all I could think of was Max wearing his crown in Where The Wild Things Are. This will henceforth be known as Susie's Swimming Crown.

I LOVE IT! Now that is the type of cap I would wear if I had to wear one...and yes, it does make one think of Max. I also think of Dr. Seuss in Go Dog, Go!

That is too cute! Do you think it would be acceptable to wear this out and about, because I totally would!

I haven't seen one of these in years - I can't believe they still sell them - very cute!

Oh, WOW! major flashbacks on the swim cap! My DH has been looking for a place to swim around here (that he'd enjoy spending time at). I used to teach swimming in high school. You're going to have fun!

I love that cap! So cute. And yes, it reminds me of swimming at the Y when I was a kid.

Wow! Seeing this photo really took me back! I remember these bathing caps. They were so difficult to get on and pulled your hair while doing it. BUT, the photo really made me smile! I say enjoy wearing your really cool cap and have fun at the pool!
