Glenn was sweet enough to go and find me a bathing cap in Manhattan which we all know isn't a bathing cap mecca. Upon taking this out of the bag, I smiled at how well my husband knows me. I saw this and all I could think of was Max wearing his crown in Where The Wild Things Are. This will henceforth be known as Susie's Swimming Crown.

I LOVE IT! Now that is the type of cap I would wear if I had to wear one...and yes, it does make one think of Max. I also think of Dr. Seuss in Go Dog, Go!
OMG, that's wonderful! Brings back memories from my childhood. I'm sure it will make you a great swimmer
Love it! With a cap like that, the lifeguard will have no trouble spotting you!
Perfect!
That is too cute! Do you think it would be acceptable to wear this out and about, because I totally would!
I haven't seen one of these in years - I can't believe they still sell them - very cute!
Oh, WOW! major flashbacks on the swim cap! My DH has been looking for a place to swim around here (that he'd enjoy spending time at). I used to teach swimming in high school. You're going to have fun!
Susie, it's so festive!!!! How can you not have fun while wearing that cap??!!!
way better looking than some of the caps of my youth! I still can't swim; I think the caps did me in...
Oh , Well, thats just fantabulous.you need one of those cool 1950's swim suits to go with it.
fabulous dahlink!
EXcellent!

Love it! You'll be the Prettiest in the Pool! There should totally be a knitted version of it!
I love that cap! So cute. And yes, it reminds me of swimming at the Y when I was a kid.
Wow! Seeing this photo really took me back! I remember these bathing caps. They were so difficult to get on and pulled your hair while doing it. BUT, the photo really made me smile! I say enjoy wearing your really cool cap and have fun at the pool!
