Where's The Knitting?

That pretty well sums up my most recent knitting endeavors. I've been knitting and frogging, knitting and frogging. I think I've begun and ended three different things in the last couple of weeks. Other than those fiascoes, I've knit a few repeat projects that don't really need to be blogged about. Beanies, slippers and handwarmers which are easy tv knits. Also I've been doing a few Christmas knits which I can't post about for obvious reasons.
Oh and I think I'm getting senile. I saw a pattern for a blanket a few weeks ago. I now want to knit this blanket and it's not where I thought it was. I can see it in my mind's eye but I have no frigging clue where I can find the pattern. I'm going to go through every knitting book I have then cry then go to a Ravelry group for help. Not necessarily in that order.
Oh and how bout them Yankees?

Hi, Susie! Thanks for sending me your blog address on Twitter.

I'm having EXACTLY the same issues with my knitting lately. I can't seem to find a pattern that agrees with me, and haven't had an FO in ages.

As far as the Yankees, congrats. I'm a hard core Red Sox fan, but don't have that "I hate the Yankees" thing that so many of my fellow New Englanders have. They are both excellent teams, and I enjoy the match up when they are playing each other.

I had to google "frogging"...I never heard of the term (probably since I'm a new knitter) but I frogged a hat the other day. I screwed up reading the pattern so now I an making my scarf for charity and then going back to the hat! LOL! Thanks for the new term!

Hmmn, maybe I have to hire you to make some hats for my family. Can I pretend they're from me? ;) Yeah, yeah, Yankees, blah blah. Thank goodness it's over.

My problem is not so much frogging my projects, but whether I should knit or crochet my next project. I have been deliberating between a crochet and a knitting pattern for fingerless gloves the past two days. Sad!

Even if you don't want to talk about your 'repeat' pattern knits, I'd love to see pics of them!

Oh, man! I am so blonde! giggle For a few months now, just about every knitting blog I go to has a "FO Friday" entry on it somewhere. I didn't realize until this morning that it was Finished Objects and not something else. I was thinking that all the ladies were having particularly bad Fridays and so, "FO Friday!" :) I even started telling me husband that it was F**k Off Friday. Funny, he didn't see the humor that I did.

WOW the Yankee won a World Series finally?? What a long hard struggle it has been for you...

I hope next year that the Yanks have as much success as you have had with your recent projects.

No one can sass you quite like family. :)
