Socks Are Always Better In Pairs

There they are! My first pair of socks! I know they look a little big but the person modeling them isn't the new owner of this lovely pair of handmade socks. Patrick was kind enough to model for me and he's a little skinny thing so they're a little big on him but they should be just right for my brother in law, Vinny.
I think they look pretty good for a first try. I had a couple of little mistakes, ok maybe one not so little, but I decided that it gives them character. If you want perfect, go buy a pair of socks at Wal Mart.
I'm working on the second pair now and hope to start a Baby Surprise Jacket this weekend. I didn't get a lot of knitting due to my previously stated cold, but I hope to get my knit on this weekend.
Today is Patrick's twelfth birthday! Happy Birthday Patch! We'll be doing a bit of celebrating this weekend and hopefully a bit of knitting. Have a great weekend!

They look GREAT! And they don't seem overly big. Check out elann.com for some Regia sock yarn at good prices. You need 2sks for one pair. No affilation, blah blah blah...

Hope everyone's feeling well again, and happy belated to Patrick!!

Hey, congrats! They look great! And my husband says if there isn't at least one mistake, it's not handmade. :)
