Thank God It's Friday

Anyone else remember this movie? From what I remember it was a stinker but the music was great.
Well today is Friday and usually that's not a big deal but this Friday marks the beginning of Winter Recess for the boys. They're off next week. I was told that this mid-winter torture errrr vacation was started in the 70s to save oil when gas/oil prices skyrocketed to over a dollar a gallon. Imagine that!
I don't think much knitting will be done but I sure will try. I have not yet begun the Gretel hat but that will be attempted next week. Then I THINK I'm going to try my first foray into sweater making. I'm nervous but I know I'll have some great people guiding me along the way. Oh also my blog is getting a makeover! The lovely and talented Sharnee, over at Acorn Glue is making me a new face for my blog. I'm very excited! She does some great work so go give her a lookie loo.
