Reading Is FUNdamental

I love books. I love knitting. So obviously my favorites are knitting books these days. Over the last eight or so months I've acquired close to twenty knitting books from Knitting for Dummies to various pattern books like the ones above. My sistah from another mistah, Meg, sent these to me for Christmas. I love these books! The hats are really funky and are all knit from the top down which I haven't done yet. The socks are fun and cool although I haven't attempted any socks yet. I have a couple of things I'm doing right now then I think I'm gonna try a hat from this book with my Pastaza. After I do my niece's Gretel hat. Hopefully. Then I think I will attempt socks. I'm a lil skeered but I think it's about time to give it a go. OH also I'm making one of my sister's a cardigan. She lives in Florida and needs a sweater. She's always cold. Whoda thunk it?

Be intrepid! That's the cool thing about knitting, if you don't like the product you're getting, you can just rip it out and start over. Go socks!

Glad you are liking the books, I thought the sock book was the push you might need in that direction. I know that is the real reason you picked up the sticks again, so you could knit some funky stripy socks!

When Jewish women hit 40 their blood thins. Mom has been telling you this for ages! I'll be on the lookout for a nice pattern. Feel free to send me anything you think she might like. I'll try and snag a cardigan next time I'm home and see what size it is... <3
