I Lied

Yes. I lied. It DOES end. The scarf that would not end, ended. Finally! I know I kvetched and moaned but I finally finished it yesterday. Here ya go:

Isn't it lovely? I can't believe how much I like it after two hate filled weeks. It'a very dense and soft and warm. I'm tempted to keep it but I know it's going to someone who will really like it and take care of it. As much as I like it, I don't think I'll be doing another one anytime soon.
I also finished a child's version of Stella's Hat for a little girl in my building.
Now I'm working on a pair of handwarmers for another teacher. I think that will be the end of my teacher knitting. After that I'm onto a Gretel hat (Yes, Bean, for you) by Ysolda. I purchased the pattern, about $4.50, a while back and have been saving it as a reward to myself for finishing the formerly named scarf from hell.
Speaking of Ysolda. I read, on her blog, that she's going to be coming to the US specifically the NYC area in the near future. I hope she does a class of some sort because I love her work and I'd be there in a hearbeat!

Great job in finishing the scarf! I would have thrown it behind a chair and pretended it never existed!

It's beautiful!

That scarf is to die for. Truly lovely, you should be proud! Look at what you made!

Now you owe Beana that hat for making you venturing into cableing.
