Who'da thunk it? I got this gorgeous knitting bag for Christmas from my boyos! I got it from The Julian Baglady on Etsy. I've been coveting this bag, or any of her bags, for months so I was so pleased to find it under my Christmas tree this year! The craftsmanship is amazing....just gorgeous. It's large without being cumbersome and it has side pockets for yarn. It also has, as you can see here, an inserted needle case! I just cannot say enough great things about this bag!
I've been on a bit of an Etsy tear actually. I've purchased a couple of project bags and a bunch of stitch markers. All different kinds of stuff from pewter sheep to mini Christmas ornament stitch markers. I've found that overall the stuff I get from Etsy far surpasses my expectations with each and every order. Ugh with my luck, just writing that will almost insure a clunker.
Oh I also got an iPod touch! I was told that I could get my patterns on it which was a huge thing for me. But hell if I know how! I guess I'll have to break down and r-r-read the manual huh?
Haven't done much knitting lately because I've been busy with kids and holiday stuff. Oh but my Sistah From Another Mistah sent me two gorgeous knitting books! One for cool hats and the other for socks. She knows me SO well!
Well I hope you all had as enjoyable a Christmas as I did!

It is gorgeous and the bag you got me from Etsy was a huge hit too and just beautiful. No clunkers here!
I'm so glad the bag was as good as you hoped. Enjoy the books, next year I'll expect some socks. ;)
The bag is so nice! I love Etsy - its hard to resist all the nice things on it. Sounds like you had a wonderful holiday!
That looks amazing! How wonderful of the boys to get you something that's useful, practical, and something that you WANT! They've definitely been raised right!
I have one of her bags too and just love it. I'm sure you will get a lot of use out of it.
