Here's the other yarn I purchased at the Smiley's Manhattan sale last week. It's Gedifra chandra and it's greens with some yellow and some of the balls have little bits of a rust to them. It's a chunky and has the appearance of being crocheted! It's really lovely and I have 10 balls of it and not a CLUE what to make with it!
Right now I'm doing a simple seed stitch scarf with the Rowan chunky print for myself. That's all I've been working on lately. I put aside the other stuff so I could get this scarf done. I love how the seed stitch looks but I don't like doing it. It's not so bad with the chunky yarn so I figured I'd make myself a lovely scarf just this once. I've actually avoided projects with this stitch because it makes my head hurt. I should have left the scarf till after Christmas and got my Christmas knitting done but that's ok. Anyone I'm knitting for will accept late knitted gifts.
