It's almost here! The Lion Brand Yarn Studio opens in less than a week BUT I was lucky enough to get a coupon for a sneak peek! My knitting buddy and I are going to go tomorrow and check things out. I'm excited to see what they have there. From what I understand it's going to be very hands on. You will be able to knit a gauge swatch to see if the yarn you want will fit the pattern you have. It will take more than a swatch station to win my affection.
I have to say though...it's going to be hard to replace the place in my heart that The Point now resides. I LOVE The Point. We've been there several times now and I like it more and more with each visit. But hey...I'm open minded. I'll give LBYS a go. The one plus already is that it's a bit closer to me than The Point. We go this week so I'll post about it soon.
