I found this hat here http://smariek.blogspot.com/2007/10/pythagorean-hat-scarf.html I thought it was so cute that I'd give it a go. It's easy except for every two lines being a different pattern. I love how it looks though! I've only just begun but I should be done soon. I was working on a scarf for my brother in law's birthday tomorrow.

I was thinking about going to Rhinebeck this weekend for the sheep and wool show but I don't think I'm going to go. I have no knitting friends to go with and I really don't think my ever patient husband and not so patient sons would appreciate a day with a bunch of knitters. I have to say that my husband did offer, several times, to go with me but I'm sure he'd rather eat snake poop so I won't subject him to it. I don't know enough about yarns and what I like yet to really enjoy it anyway. It'll give me something to look forward to for next year.
