Is it weird to have them not be part of the skyline any longer?
Being a New Yorker, the answer is YES. Even after all the time that has passed, I am still surprised when I see the skyline from across the river, or when I am actually passing by the site...I don't think any of us will ever forget, or ever stop grieving for the senseless loss of life.
